eComStation 1.2 is the latest version of eComStation which features the new, simplified installation process of eComStation 1.1 but further refined and enhanced. A greatly enhanced desktop with extensive help-system, virtual desktops, remote desktop and support for modern Internet connections like ISDN, xDSL, PPtP and PPPoE. HobLink X11 is included in eComStation 1.2 as well as enhanced Multimedia support, a 3D screensaver, new and updated printer and systemdrivers.

eComStation 1.2 Academic

The eComStation 1.2 Academic Edition is available to those who are either student or tutor in an academic institution. It consists of eComStation 1.2 + OpenOffice.org for eComStation and OS/2

eComStation 1.2 Multi Processor Pack

For people who desire to use the power of multi-processor workstations, the eComStation Multi Processor Pack is made available. This version supports the use of multiprocessor systems up to 64 processors (theoretically). Due to it's design, you can take advantage of the extra processingpower, without the need of applications being 'SMP enabled'. Please note you can only use this product in conjunction with eComstation 1.1 or 1.2.

Software Subscription Services

Software Subscription Services (formerly known as Upgrade Protection) will allow you to budget your software expenses for a period of 12 months. It will cover all updates and enhancements made to the product during this period. If a new major release is done within that period months, that will be covered as well. More info
