| The CFM Twain driver is a self-reliant standard
TWAIN module for scanner control and can be
run from most applications supporting the TWAIN standard
and opens up to your scanner for all
modern desktop publishing (DTP), optical character recognition (OCR)
and document imaging (DIM) applications. CFM Twain allows you to connect your scanner in two different ways to your computer: via a SCSI adapter board forming part of the scanner supply or via an ASPI compatible SCSI host adapter. Based on the TWAIN standard features the program options depend on the capabilities of the respective scanner as well as application requirements. The CFM Twain driver is available for OS/2 and Windows. The CFM Twain driver for OS/2 is highly recommended and tested for use with PMView. Supported scanners for OS/2 include: Canon: CanoScan 300, CanoScan 600,IX-3010, IX-4015, IX-4025, DR-3020 Epson: GT-4000, GT-5000, GT-6500, GT-8000, GT-8500, GT-9000 Fujitsu: ScanPartner 10, ScanPartner 10 C, ScanPartner 600C, ScanPartner Junior Hewlett Packard: ScanJet IIC, IICX, 3C, 3P, 4C, 4P, 6100C Linotype Hell: Jade, Saphir, Opal Microtek: ScanMaker II, IIG, II600Z, IISP, IISP600, IIHR, III, E3, E6 Mustek: 3-pass and 1-pass SCSI-scanner Attention: Mustek Paragon 1200 SP with ROM-versions 1.02-1.07, Paragon 800 IISP and Paragon 600 IICD are not supported!
