Xact is a highly developed specialized program for presenting different types of data in graphic form. The integrated vector graphics editor allows you to to add objects and captions for illustrations and descriptive texts. Xact works in an object-oriented manner: The charts themselves are made up of (vector) graphics objects, settings are entered in the context menus. XactPro is the professional version of Xact and offers additional functions beyond the normal range of Xact: the chart type "change object styles" for coloring in geographical maps, the "shape file import" filter, the "CMYK color space", the copying of graphic files including links. In the dialog list for graphics files you can save and reuse lists that you have compiled yourself. Xact is used not only by graphics professionals but also by scientists and market researchers. Our users include the Federal Statistical Office in Wiesbaden, regional statistical offices, Max-Planck Institutes, Frauenhofer-Gesellschaft applied research institutes, industrial laboratories, universities, market research centers, banks and insurance companies. Xact 8 comes always in german and english versions on the CD with a german printed manual, the english manual is a pdf-file on the CD. For upgrade orders please provide your current serial number.
