Cryptex, is a laptop and desktop security tool designed to provide unbreakable, 448-bit encryption, for the data stored on laptops and desktops.
Cryptex keeps your data safe by creating an encrypted vault on your hard drive that you can directly work out of, by simply dragging and dropping files in and out of it, like you would with any normal hard drive.
Set Cryptex to automatically lock the vault on demand, after a period of inactivity or upon shut down for maximum protection of your laptop or PC. Cryptex will work on Windows 2000/XP/Vista with any file type and allows for the creation of encrypted vaults on most removable USB media's, including flash drives and USB hard drives.
Cryptex also only requires the amount of hard drive space of the total size of files that you put in your vault(s), ie- a 60GB vault would not require 60GB of space, unless you've added 60GB of data to it.

Work Directly Out
of the Vault
Cryptex gives you the ability
to work directly out of the encrypted vault.
This will save you the time from having
to copy, cut and paste files to and
from the vault. Creating and deleting files directly
out of the vault is supported as well.
When the vault is unlocked, you can work
out of it like any other hard drive
on your computer.
Encrypt Any File(s)
Encrypt and
secure all file types, including documents, music, video
and emails. Simply drag and drop a file
into your vault, click 'lock' and your data
is protected. The data in the vault will
reside encrypted on your hard drive when the
vault is locked or open.
Laptop Protection
By
using unbreakable encryption algorithms (user selected 128-448 bit
encryption), Cryptex will keep your data safe and
confidential in case of theft by automatically locking
the vault on a timer, shut down and
standby.
Protection from Identity Theft
If you store
private information on your laptop, it is at
risk. With Cryptex's unbreakable 448 bit encryption, you
can securely store bank statements, personal documents and
other information that you do not want others
to see.

Multiple Encryption Methods
Choose
from up to 3 encryption methods including 448-bit
Blowfish Encryption, 256-bit AES Encryption and 192-bit Triple
DES Encryption.
USB Devices Supported
Cryptex can create
a vault on all removable USB media. This
allows you to keep your data safely offsite
with USB flash drives and USB hard drives.
Cryptex also allows you to create self extracting
executable files that can be safely stored on
CD or DVD etc.
Vault Files by Email
Cryptex allows you to send Encrypted files through
email by creating a self extracting encrypted file(s).
The recipient DOES NOT need Crypex installed to
decrypt the file(s), only the decrypt password is
required.
