Before ordering KEDIT for Windows, you should be
aware of the current status of the product:
- Mansfield Software Group is no longer actively working
on major upgrades of the program, and we
are in the process of gradually winding the
company down.
- Because organizations that use KEDIT, as well
as individuals who change jobs, etc., may have
a continuing need for additional KEDIT licenses, we
plan to continue selling KEDIT through our web
site until at least the end of 2009.

We plan to provide e-mail technical support for
KEDIT until at least September, 2010.
KEDIT is
a powerful, general purpose text editor that is
compatible with XEDIT, IBM's VM/CMS editor. Features includes:
most XEDIT commands, selective line editing (XEDIT's ALL
command), mouse support, UNDO and REDO, file locking,
online help, a SORT command, support for the
long filenames, multiple files and windows, the Rexx
macro language, syntax coloring and much more. The
Windows version combines both a Windows 3.1 and
Window 95/NT version. The OS/2 version contains both
OS/2 and DOS versions in the same box.
Note: KEDIT for DOS and for OS/2 are
no longer actively marketed.
