About Mensys
Mensys, once started as IBM software specialist, has in the past 15 years
developed into a supplier of "Software for Professionals".
Both the "major brands" e.g. Microsoft, Symantec, IBM as more specialized
products such as the products of NetOp, VMware, etc.
Windows software as well as all major Linux distributions and eComStation,
the successor to OS/2. Both retail and licenses.
Through our online shop you will find extensive information on all
products, links to more information and you can easily order or email us
with a specific question. If you are looking for software not on our
website please contact us and we will find it for you.
Thank you for visiting our online shop. Through our home-page we
made several selections of products, based on platform and
manufacturer. You can also select our best-selling (top 50) products
and new/updated products.
Searching and ordering
Through our search facility you can search through our
articlenumbers, article descriptions and even catalogue descriptions.
When you start ordering products you can select being a new customer or
you can enter your userid/password.
You will have to confirm your order from the order overview and then
enter or update your name and address before your order is final.
After confirming your order you can enter:
- Your Order Reference (will be printed on both invoices and shipping
lists)
- Your Order Comment (extra instructions for us such as do not ship
before the end
of the month, or you can specify a separate shipping
address here)
- Your shipping instructions
If you entered a valid and correct e-mail address you will receive,
within one hour, an e-mail which confirms your order. You will also
automatically receive an e-mail when we ship your order. This e-mail is
a copy of the actual invoice.

Payment methods
You can pay with
- A Pro-Forma Invoice: you place the order, you get a Pro-Forma
invoice by e-mail, you pay and we deliver after receiving your payment
- Paypal: if you choose PayPal please confirm the order and wait for our e-mail.
- Mastercard
- VISA or JBC
- American Express (allow 24 hours for processing)
- Diners Club (allow 24 hours for processing)
- Only in the Netherlands: iDEAL.
- Only in the Netherlands: Cash on delivery
- Only in the Netherlands: Bank-incasso
- Only in the Netherlands: Giro-incasso
- Only for approved customers: delivery based on a invoice
Shipping costs
We charge the following shipping costs (all prices are in Euro (EUR)
excl. VAT):
- No charges for Electronic Software Delivery (ESD), such as
shareware-registrations. If you choose electronic delivery you will in
most cases get an e-mail with download instructions and a key to use
product. For some products we can do this within minutes, for other
products this process usually takes 1 working day.
- 2.50 Euro for small packages (such as one CD) in the Netherlands
- 5.00 Euro for small packages (such as one CD) outside the
Netherlands
- 7.00 Euro for other packages in the Netherlands
- 12.00 Euro for Cash on Delivery shipments in the Netherlands
- 12.00 Euro or actual costs outside the Netherlands for packages of
less than 1 kilo
- Here is a
complete overview of shipping costs and estimated delivery days
for packages up to 1 kg outside the Netherlands.
- Actual costs for packages of more than 1 kilo
- Actual costs for express shipments
If we decide to send partial shipments, you will only be charged
shipment costs once.
VAT
VAT (Value Added Tax) in the Netherlands is 19% in general 6% for
books.
We do NOT have to charge VAT if:
- We ship outside the European Union (The Netherlands,
Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy,
United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Greece,
Austria, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic,
Slovakia, Hongary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania,
Malta, Cyprus)
- You work outside the Netherlands and order for your company using a
valid VAT-number. Ask your financial administration for this number and
enter it in the name and address-information.
