for Data Acquisition and Transfer. Supporting various interfaces to connect your application to any kind of device - also via Intranet (TCP/IP).
Data acquisition made easy. Insert TConnector into your application or into Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Delphi... and you are able to connect to any device (e. g. a bar code reader) within minutes.
Two API's are available:
- synchronous communication (read/write).
- asynchronous event-triggered communication (OnData event).
The built-in TCP/IP support simplifies intranet-based applications considerably. The unified API supports serial port (COM) read/write, parallel port (LPT) write, Intranet (TCP/IP) read/write, NULL device and File-IO read/write with only 5 function calls!
TWedge enables you to input data from external devices - such as bar code readers, electronic scales (and many more) - into your application. Now data acquisition can be integrated into SAP R/3 and legacy applications without any programming. All devices with RS-232 or TCP/IP interfaces are supported.
How does it work? TWedge reads data and forwards it to target applications by simulating keystrokes. Flexible automation functions are available - e.g. you can select the required input field automatically, activate or start applications on demand, or simulate function keys based on input data. And/or data logging is supported, too!
TWedgeCE enables you to input data from external devices - such as bar code readers, electronic scales (and many more) - into your application. TWedgeCE supports RS-232 interface. The connection to the device can be made about a data cable and also about Bluetooth or infrared.
