X-IT

X-it, "The One Button Zapper", is a desktop
enhancer which adds major enhancements to the hitherto
barren OS/2 title bar (Warp 4.x, 3.x or
OS/2 2.x).
X-it (pronounced "exit") provides a one button
click to many desktop operations, such as closing
a window, displaying a task list, VIO, single
and multiline edit field cut-and-paste, and a unique
title bar roll-up function. Functions are accessible from
buttons on the titlebars, middle or right mouse
buttons, or the keyboard. And there's X-it's complete
customisability, even down to changing items on the
popup menus, and the title bar bitmaps as
well. Create and use your own bitmaps if
you want.
X it for Windows gives you
a single click to common actions that normally
take a large number of mouse movements and
clicking. This popular OS/2 utility has now been
ported to Windows, with the most popular features
implemented first. And yes it runs under WIN-OS2
sessions (seamless or fullscreen)!
FEATURES:
* Three titlebar buttons.
These buttons appear on all top level windows.
*
Display buttons on the left or right side
of the titlebar. Adjust location of the titlebar
buttons to the nearest pixel.
* Close window button
- this Win95 feature is now available for
Win 3.x. Click this button to close the
window.
* Rollup window button. Resize the window to
just the size of the titlebar with a
single click. Faster than minimizing/restoring - for when
you need to see what's underneath.

button. Display the current tasklist for quick switching
between programs.
* User defined middle mouse button -
assign it to one of the same actions
available for the titlebar buttons.
* Exception list for
troublesome programs.

more on the way.
