NetDrive for OS/2 is a virtual file system which allows to create a virtual volume and mount various resources to the volume. Current version of NetDrive for OS/2 supports local, network and FTP resources.

  • OS/2 Warp 4, Warp Server for e-business v4.5 or eComStation (Prev 1 and up)
  • MPTS and TCP/IP High or medium speed Internet connection with cable modems, ADSL, etc. for FTP resources

NetDrive for OS/2 is a virtual file system which allows to create a virtual volume and mount various resources to the volume. Current version of NetDrive for OS/2 supports local, network and FTP resources.

  • MPTS and TCP/IP High or medium speed Internet connection with cable modems, ADSL, etc. for FTP resources
Features
  • Maps all network resources that usually have to be mapped to a number of different drive letters via a net use command to a single drive letter as regular directories.
  • Mounts almost any FTP server as a regular directory. You can use your favorite file manager to browse content on an ftp server and download files to your local disk.
  • Allows you to listen mp3 music or play any other multimedia files directly from a ftp server using your favorite player.

Plugins

  • SFTP Plugin: New release of Jan 7, 2011: allow to specify server:port in resource properties and fix for sporadic connection drops.

  • NFS plugin:The NFS plugin can mount a NFS server directory to the NetDrive file system.
  • VFAT plugin:This plugin allows read/write access, including creation of long file names, to a drive with Microsoft Windows 95 VFAT file system.

NetDrive Version 3 The new release of the virtual file system has various enhancements and new features. Main changes are:
  • Support for files greater than 2 gigabytes on local and FTP resources as well as new external plugin interface for large files.
  • Redesigned Control Panel includes convenient user interface, updated online help and user's guide
  • Virtual volumes configuration is automatically saved and restored on system restart.
  • Improved performance
