ZTreeWin is a text-mode file/directory manager for all versions of Windows 95 and later (95,98,ME,NT,2000 and XP).

ZTreeWin is a 32-bit Windows program that has been developed to provide all the powerful functionality of the past, (and much more!), while avoiding the limitations of the old DOS-based program.
A few advantages of ZTreeWin:

  • No 640K memory barrier...log an unlimited number of disks and files
  • (Current record 1,096,853 logged files on a single drive!)
  • Supports long file and directory names
  • Allows use of any current or future archiving programs
Here is just a sample of the enhancements in v1.49.2:
  • Alt-F1 About - Alt-F1 to display build date
  • History - Ctrl-% - jump to entry marked with % when not the current one
  • Mouse wheel scrolling (W2K/XP only) with Shift key held will advance a page
  • Open .DBF - pass current search history to ZTW_VdBF.EXE (v1.4h+)
  • sHortcut - Support full rename masks in shortcut name
  • Treespec - Refresh each already logged directory part when recalling from history
